      Rats & mice cause damage to stock, structures and many times are also responsible for fires.

      Among the diseases rats may transmit to humans or livestock are murine typhus, leptospirosis, trichinosis, salmonellosis (food poisoning), and ratbite fever Plague.

      Spiders which have been known to cause death and antivenum is now available are Funnelweb and Redbag however there are other spiders that their bites are classed as dangerous and life threatning.

      Possums

      Possums are not the cute and cuddly creatures they appear to be. Rather, they prove to be destructive pests who damage property, trees and vegetable patches. Even more troubling are the claims that possums are spreading disease to humans and livestock.
